Podcast Summary
Hey Dreamer,
Let’s take a deep breath together.
You’ve probably had to be strong for so long that softness started to feel unsafe. Maybe joy has felt far away—like something reserved for vacations or breakthroughs or moments you can “afford” to feel light again.
But today’s devotional and meditation are about something different: returning to your inner child, not as a weakness—but as a way back to God.
In Matthew 18:3, Jesus doesn’t suggest that we become like children—He says we must. Not because immaturity is spiritual, but because dependence is holy. Curiosity is sacred. Joy is medicine.
In today’s reflection, I share how our nervous systems respond to awe, how our leadership is sharpened—not by control, but by connection—and how our spirits are refreshed when we stop performing and start playing again.
We dive into the truth that you don’t have to outgrow wonder to be wise.
You don’t have to lose joy to be responsible.
You’re allowed to laugh, to rest, to delight, and still be a strong, grounded, faith-filled leader.
Your call to action? One sacred moment of play.
Paint, dance, walk barefoot, bake something messy, write something wild.
It doesn’t have to make sense. It just has to help you remember.
Today’s declaration?
“I trust God enough to live with wonder again.”
So breathe, friend.
Let the Spirit soften what survival has hardened.
You don’t have to go back to who you were.
But you can reclaim what’s been waiting: your innocence. Your wonder. Your joy.
You are not broken. You are being reintroduced to yourself.
Keep dreaming.
Keep softening.
And keep trusting the God who welcomes the little child and the leader in you.
Let’s connect. Not just in the comments, not just with a double tap. I want to know what’s been on your heart. Let’s talk, dream out loud, pray if you need it, laugh if you feel like it, just real space for real conversation.
