Podcast Summary
Hey Dreamer,
Let’s have a heart-to-heart.
I know you might be tired. Maybe you’ve been in go-mode, pouring out, holding it all together.
But I want to ask you something real:
When was the last time you felt joy—not just a quick laugh or a smile for someone else’s sake—but deep, soul-level joy?
It’s wild how we can do all the right things—show up, serve, believe—and still feel joy slipping through our fingers.
We start to think: “Maybe joy is for after the breakthrough… after the healing… after everything calms down.”
But what if that’s not how God works?
What if you’ve been postponing joy, thinking it has to be earned, when really—it’s been your strength all along?
Nehemiah 8:10 doesn’t say “Get your life together, then rejoice.”
It says “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
And this was spoken to people who were grieving.
Their hearts were broken wide open.
And God told them: Don’t stay in sorrow—celebrate. Eat. Drink. Rejoice.
Because joy is a holy response to the process—not just the prize at the end.
Here’s the coaching piece,
Some of us are great at managing stress—but terrible at holding joy.
We brace ourselves for disappointment.
We downplay celebration.
We feel guilty when we’re not hustling.
But that’s not kingdom. That’s not freedom.
And it’s not sustainable.
God didn’t design you to grind your way through life—He created you to live it with joy.
Joy is how your spirit breathes.
Joy is how your body heals.
Joy is a weapon—and a witness.
So here’s the truth I want you to hold today,
“I was made for joy. And joy is my strategy—not my reward.”
Breathe that in.
Say it again if you need to.
Let it rewire something deep in your soul.
You don’t have to hustle for holiness.
You don’t have to wait for the celebration.
It starts now.
This week, don’t chase joy—receive it.
Let it meet you in the small moments.
Let it rise in the middle of the mess.
You don’t have to fix everything to feel joy.
You just have to open the door and say: “God, I’m ready.”
Keep dreaming. Keep believing.
And don’t forget—joy is not optional. It’s your inheritance.
Let’s connect. Not just in the comments, not just with a double tap. I want to know what’s been on your heart. Let’s talk, dream out loud, pray if you need it, laugh if you feel like it, just real space for real conversation.
