Podcast Summary
Hey Dreamer,
Let’s slow down together for just a moment.
I know—life’s been busy. And maybe you’ve been carrying so much that joy feels… like a luxury.
But what if it isn’t? What if joy isn’t something you get to enjoy after everything’s done—but something God’s inviting you into right now?
Have you felt like life became more of a checklist than an adventure?
Maybe you’ve been stuck in go-mode so long you forgot what it felt like to just… giggle.
Maybe part of you thinks:
“Should I really be laughing right now?”
“Is it okay to rest when there’s so much still to do?”
Or even—“Will something bad happen if I let my guard down and feel joy?”
You’re not alone. That tension is real.
But Jesus says something powerful in Matthew 18:3,
“Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
That verse isn’t about acting childish—it’s about reclaiming childlike freedom.
Freedom to laugh.
Freedom to wonder.
Freedom to trust God with the heaviness, so you can receive the holiness of joy.
Let’s reframe something,
Joy is not a treat at the end of your to-do list.
It’s not a sign you’re being “irresponsible.”
Joy is brain food.
Joy is soul medicine.
Joy is your nervous system’s way of saying, “Ahh, I can finally breathe again.”
God built your body and your spirit to heal through delight.
So instead of waiting until the work is done—what if you let joy fuel the work?
What if play isn’t a break from purpose… but the breath in it?
So here’s your truth for today,
“I don’t have to earn joy. I am designed for it. And today, I receive it as holy oxygen.”
Breathe that in.
Let it move from your mind to your heart to your body.
Put on that song. Blow those bubbles. Dance in the hallway. Laugh loud.
Dreamer, the Kingdom isn’t found in exhaustion.
It’s found in awe.
It’s found in play.
And you—you are invited back to it.
So today? Don’t just do the work.
Be light.
Be curious.
Be full of wonder again.
God isn’t asking you to grow up and get serious.
He’s inviting you to jump rope into joy—and find Him smiling beside you.
Let’s connect. Not just in the comments, not just with a double tap. I want to know what’s been on your heart. Let’s talk, dream out loud, pray if you need it, laugh if you feel like it, just real space for real conversation.
