Podcast Summary
Hey Dreamer,
Can we just pause together for a second?
You don’t have to figure it all out today. You don’t have to fix yourself.
You just have to be willing to look underneath the surface.
Because what’s showing up in your life—the patterns, the habits, the stuck places—they’re not random.
They’re not signs that you’re failing.
They’re invitations. And they’re speaking.
Have you ever asked yourself, “Why do I keep doing this?”
Why do I overcommit, shut down, overthink, lash out, procrastinate, push past limits, or avoid the thing I actually care about?
We tend to judge the behavior. But rarely do we ask, What belief is feeding this fruit?
Sometimes the fruit is fear.
Sometimes it’s exhaustion.
Sometimes it’s performance.
But if the root hasn’t changed, the fruit won’t either.
Jesus gave us a diagnostic tool: “Good tree, good fruit. Bad tree, bad fruit.”
He wasn’t condemning us—He was inviting us into self-awareness and healing.
He was showing us that fruit flows from connection, not control.
So today, I want to remind you: You don’t have to control your behavior into wholeness.
You get to reconnect to truth and let that bear the fruit.
Let’s bring in the coaching piece.
What’s the fruit you’ve been frustrated by?
What emotion is tied to it?
And deeper—what belief is feeding it?
This is the Belief Tree work. We start at the top (the visible stuff), but we don’t stop there.
We trace. We listen. We ask brave questions.
And then we plant new seeds.
You don’t heal by hating your behavior.
You heal by understanding it.
By holding space for what it’s been trying to protect.
And by partnering with God to speak truth to that space.
Let’s breathe right here.
Inhale slowly…
Exhale fully…
Now say this with me:
“I’m not my old fruit. I’m being rooted in truth.”
Feel that land in your spirit.
You’re not too late to grow something new.
Your story isn’t stuck.
God is already tending to the roots.
All He needs is your yes.
So as you move through today, stay curious.
Stay compassionate.
And stay rooted.
You were never meant to just survive—you were meant to bear good fruit.
Let’s connect. Not just in the comments, not just with a double tap. I want to know what’s been on your heart. Let’s talk, dream out loud, pray if you need it, laugh if you feel like it, just real space for real conversation.
Today’s Devotion:
The Fruit and the Root
Matthew 7:17–18 (NIV) – “Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.”
