When did joy start to feel unsafe?
Who convinced you that maturity meant you had to be serious all the time?
What if the strongest, most obedient thing you could do this week was... smile?
We talked about how joy isn’t extra—it’s essential. It’s how your nervous system heals. It’s how your spirit gets refreshed. It’s how your faith gets refueled. The joy of the Lord really is your strength, not just because scripture says so, but because you feel it when you let yourself live from it.
I shared a little of my own journey—how even in the middle of stress, confusion, or disappointment, God keeps meeting me with laughter, with lightness, with sacred joy. And I had to learn that I didn’t have to earn that. I just had to receive it. Let it in. Let it stay.

Joy is not the prize at the end of your breakthrough. It’s the pathway to it.
You don’t need perfect circumstances to practice joy. You just need permission—and you already have it.
So this week, take that walk. Light that candle. Laugh harder than usual. Sing a little louder. Stand in the mirror and say, “I was created to experience joy, not just survive life.”
Joy is your strategy. It’s your strength. And the world didn’t give it—so the world can’t take it away.
